KANSAS City, Mo. --- The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced their 2024-25 All-Region men's basketball teams on Monday. Clarion's
Cam Kearney claimed unanimous all-region honors this year when he took All-Atlantic Region Second Team laurels. Earlier this offseason he was named D2CCA Second Team All-Region.
Â
A dynamic scorer from every spot on the floor, Kearney led the PSAC with an average of 21.2 points per game and was the only player in the league to average better than 20 points a contest. That average ranked second in the Atlantic Region to only Concord's Kollin Tolbert, who averaged 21.3 points per game. Kearney finished just a tenth of a point shy of cracking the top 10 in single-game scoring average in program history.Â
Â
Kearney shot 50.2 percent from the field in total this season and was statistically the conference's most accurate three-point shooter; he made 37 of his 80 long range attempts for a 46.3 three-point field goal percentage.Â
Â
Early in the year, Kearney cracked the 1,000 point mark for his career at Clarion and finished the season just outside the top-10 in Golden Eagles history. With 1,276 career points in three seasons, he ranks 14th all-time in scoring.Â
