Foringer, Perry Star on Second Day of Brockport Multi

BROCKPORT, N.Y. --- Madison Foringer broke her own record in the Hammer Throw for the second time this season, and Leah Perry won the Heptathlon, as the Golden Eagles track & field team finished their second day at the Brockport Multi.

Foringer posted her best mark to date in the Hammer Throw on Sunday, taking sixth place in the field with a mark of 45.12m. It represents an improvement by more than a full meter over her previous record of 44.06m set at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on March 28, and puts her in the top-eight in the conference through this weekend's results.

Meanwhile, Leah Perry continued her strong run in the Heptathlon on Sunday, finishing first in the three remaining events to win the event with a score of 3779. Sunday started with the Long Jump, with Perry clearing a distance of 4.80m on her third attempt. Perry followed that up with a throw of 23.05m in the Javelin, and she then cleared the field in the 800m with a time of 2:46.72.
