INDIANA, Pa. --- Facing high winds, cold rain and a pair of weather delays, the Golden Eagles men's golf team finished their first day at the Cecil Spadafora Invitational on Tuesday. Clarion sat in 13
th place after one day with a score of 332 at Indiana Country Club.

Hayden Siegel sat in 29
th in the field and best on the team on Tuesday, carding a round of 79. He started out particularly well, making par or better on five of the first eight holes. That included a birdie on hole no. 1, with Siegel posting a four on the par five hole. He closed out his day with a birdie on his last hole, making a three on the par four 14
th hole.

Brennan Karalfa shot an 83 on Tuesday, ranking second on the team and 59
th in the field. Just one stroke behind him was
Devon Lauer at 84, while
Chase Smith and
JP Tusai both carded rounds of 86. Smith recorded three birdies on the day, coming in a one-under on No. 14, No. 18 and No. 1.

Bradley Kugler competed as an individual and had the second-best round of any Golden Eagle on Tuesday, posting an 82.
