SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles track & field team saw another record fall on Thursday, highlighting their performance at the John Papa Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock.

Madison Foringer broke her own program record in the Hammer Throw and moved into the top-eight in the PSAC in the event for the season, highlighting the Golden Eagles' action in the field. Foringer placed seventh in the event to rank third among non-Division I competition, hitting a mark of 46.92m that was nearly two meters longer than the PR she set earlier this week at the Brockport Multi. Foringer's mark now ranks sixth in the PSAC this season.

The other top finish in the throwing events came courtesy of
Autumn Pettinato in the Javelin. The senior took third place in the field with a mark of 37.84m, putting her a quarter-meter ahead of fourth-place Angie Bawek of Allegheny.

In the jumping events,
Emily Foster tied for seventh in the High Jump, clearing the bar at 1.45m, while
Delaney Yost took 10
th in the field in the Long Jump at a mark of 5.05m. Yost also competed in the Triple Jump, posting a mark of 9.80m for 10
th place.

Emily Pleslusky competed in the Pole Vault, clearing a height of 3.10m for her best height of the season to date.

Abigail Butera finished just a fraction of a second shy of hitting a PSAC qualifying mark in the 800m, taking third in the field in the event. She crossed the line in a time of 2:22.79, just 0.29 shy of the conference's standard in the event and 0.6 behind Slippery Rock's Jennifer Cichra.

Also just missing on a qualifying mark in the distance events was
Abby Stitzer, who was less than two seconds shy of the standard in the 1500m. Stitzer placed seventh in the field with a time of 4:56.10.
Allison Farson had a top-10 finish in the 5000m with a time of 19:54.24, while
Paige Brewer took fifth in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 12:29.51.

In the sprints,
Raegan Stader took 10
th in the 100m, hitting a new PR with a time of 12.90. That time also ranks as the best for any Golden Eagle in the sprint this season. The 4x400m Relay team of
Caleigh Aigler,
Breonna Buck, Butera and
Ciara DiMauro took off for a fourth place finish, hitting a time of 4:17.42.
