ERIE, Pa. --- Competing in the final event of the 2024-25 regular season, the Golden Eagles kicked off a two-round stop at the NCAA Atlantic/East Region Preview on Monday, tying for 21
st after the first round at Whispering Woods Golf Course. Clarion's team score of 326 matched West Virginia Wesleyan in the field ad was just four strokes behind Jefferson for 20
th.

Brennan Karalfa and
Hayden Siegel both tied for the lowest score on the team and 78
th in the massive field, posting scores of 80. Siegel was locked in on the back nine, shooting an even par 36; he started his day on the 16
th and made par on seven straight to start the day, and he closed his day with six straight pars. Karalfa, meanwhile, shot a 38 on the back nine.

Devon Lauer was third on the team on Monday, carding an 82. Hie lone birdie of the day came down the back stretch, when he made a three on the par four 16
th hole.
Brady Houser rounded out Clarion's scoring with an 84, and he made birdie on the par four eighth hole.
Chase Smith led the Golden Eagles with two birdies on Monday, posting a score of 85.
