SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles competed at the 20
th annual Paul Kaiser Classic this weekend, enjoying a slew of top-10 finishes at the prestigious two-day meet hosted by Shippensburg.

Autumn Pettinato took second place in the Javelin with what was by far the best throw of her season and a touch above the best of her career. The senior set a new PR with a mark of 39.07m, coming in two-tenths of a meter ahead of her previous career best set at last year's conference championship meet.

Maddison Ho authored another top-10 finish in the field, taking 10
th in the Shot Put. She tossed the implement a distance of 11.67m.
Madison Foringer did the same in the Hammer Throw on the first day of the competition, hitting a distance of 41.56m to place 10
th in the field there as well.

Abby Stitzer came up just fractions of a second shy of matching her season-best time in the 800m, taking second in the event. She crossed the line in a time of 2:18.78, just a second behind first place Gabriella Fralin of California (PA). She made up a huge chunk of time in her second lap, essentially going at an even pace with Fralin in the final 400 meters.

Elsewhere in the distance events, Jessica Shelderfer took sixth place in the 3000m, crossing in a time of 11:23.02.
Chesnee Williams was right behind her with a top-10 finish of her own, taking 10
th place with a time of 12:26.00.
Paige Brewer finished 10
th in the field in the 3000m Steeplechase, completing the grueling circuit in 12:46.31.

Leah Perry enjoyed a strong day in the 100m Hurdles, making the finals with a time of 15.64 for the eighth-best time in the prelims. She went on to take seventh in the field in the finals, crossing the line in a time of 15.79. The other highlight of the sprints came in the 4x400m Relay, with the foursome of
Abigail Butera,
Abby Stitzer,
Ciara DiMauro and
Leah Perry taking fifth place overall. They finished in a time of 4:18.63.
