LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The PSAC announced their Winter Top 10 honorees for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday. Clarion's
David Bocci and Lunas Castellanos were both named to the prestigious list, with Bocci earning the honor for the second time in his collegiate career and Castellanos for the first time.
Â
The PSAC Top 10 was initiated in the 1998-99 academic year and is awarded to those men and women student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and athletic competition. Honorees – five men and five women – are nominated and then voted on by the Sports Information and Athletic Communications professionals of the conference.
Â
Now a two-time honoree, Bocci wrapped up his collegiate swimming career with his third All-American honor, placing 10
th in the 200 Fly at the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships in Indianapolis. The senior set a new school record in the event at the national meet, touching the wall in a time of 1:46.10. One month earlier he won the 200 Fly title at the 2025 PSAC Swimming Championships, claiming the crown for the fourth straight year.
Â
Bocci is now the first two-time Top 10 award winner since Tyler Falk (Baseball) won it in back-to-back years in 2016-17. The last member of the men's swimming & diving team to do it twice was Gary Aughinbaugh (2001-02).
Â
Castellanos was the CSCAA Division II Women's Diver of the Year for the second time in her career after winning the national championships in the Women's 1-Meter and Women's 3-Meter Dives in 2025. She broke the program record in the 3-Meter Dive in winning the national championship this year and is now a four-time national champion in her career, having also won both boards at the 2023 NCAA Division II Championships.
Â
Castellanos' honor marks the second straight year a member of the Golden Eagle women's swimming & diving team has made the list. Last year
Alexa Gonczi was voted Winter Top 10 as well.
