CLARION, Pa. --- College Sports Communicators announced their 2025 Academic All-District Men's At Large team on Tuesday afternoon.
Teagan Gray of the Golden Eagles men's golf team, as well as
Ethan Wiant and
John Worthing of the Golden Eagles wrestling team, earned Academic All-District honors in 2025.

To qualify for At Large Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically, must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average, and must have competed in at least 70 percent of team scoring events during the season or have been part of the team's conference championship lineup.

Gray (3.55 – Finance) averaged a round score of 84.0 over the course of the 2024-25 season, including a season-best 15
th place finish at the Grove City Fall Invitational. He carded a round of 77 at that tournament.

Wiant (3.59 undergraduate / 3.60 graduate - Nutrition & Fitness) finished the 2024-25 season with a 14-17 overall record, serving as the Golden Eagles' starter at 197 pounds for the entire year. He was also an Academic All-MAC selection in 2024-25.

Worthing (3.51 undergraduate / 4.00 graduate - Education) finished his collegiate career at Clarion by going 17-8 overall, working as the Golden Eagles' starter at 174 pounds. His overall record for his career was 86-49, and Worthing also earned Academic All-MAC and NWCA Scholar All-America honors.
