CLARION, Pa. --- The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced their 2025 Team Academic Award winners on Monday. The Golden Eagles were among those programs recognized for their academic accomplishments during the 2024-25 school year.

To earn AVCA Team Academic honors, a program must maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

"It is very exciting to see that the record-setting, on-court successes during the 2024-25 season have extended to the classroom," says AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "The fact that more programs earned the Team Academic Award than ever before is evidence of how committed our coaches are when it comes to helping their players reach their goals as both students and athletes."Â

The Golden Eagles recorded a cumulative team GPA of 3.48 during the Fall 2024 semester and a 3.62 during the Spring 2025 semester, averaging to a 3.54 team GPA over the course of the school year. Clarion boasted four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees, including two-time Academic All-American
Cassidy Snider. She was also named a PSAC Fall Top 10 honoree, given annually to the conference's high achievers in competition as well as academics.
