Clarion Athletics Partners with Influxer

CLARION, Pa. ---  Clarion Athletics has announced a partnership with Influxer, an officially licensed vendor that allows student-athletes to sell unique and custom apparel through a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement.

Influxer is an officially licensed vendor that works with over 500 schools to create co-branded apparel customized with players' names and numbers. Through this partnership, Influxer will provide student-athletes with education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship and personal branding.

"Our Golden Eagles now have the opportunity to work with Influxer on developing NIL merchandising opportunities," said Clarion athletic director Dr. Wendy Snodgrass. "As the world of college athletics changes it's important that we provide our student-athletes with the education and information necessary to make sounds decisions in the realm of name, image and likeness. By collaborating with Influxer, they will have the opportunity to explore new possibilities in merchandising while also receiving that education."

As a result of the partnership, every Clarion student-athlete has the opportunity to create a personalized webpage and sell gear using their name on Golden Eagle branded apparel that earns them money on every sale.

"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with Dr. Snodgrass and the administration has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision they have for Clarion, providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes," said Influxer vice president Keith Miller. "They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life."
