Kameron Kerle logged an ace in his second round of the day, highlighting the first day of the Hannastown Collegiate Invitational on Monday. Clarion sat in 12
th after the first two rounds of play with scores of 316 and 310 at Hannastown Golf Club, making a score of 626.

Kerle was the Golden Eagles' top individual finisher on Monday, placing 20
th in the field with a two-round score of 150. The freshman logged back-to-back rounds of 75 on Monday, making birdie or better on five total holes.

The "or better" came in his second round. After making even par on the par 3 No. 15 hole in his first round of the day, Kerle sank a hole in one the second time around, dropping it in from 197 yards out. Combined with a four on the par 5 No. 12, that put Kerle at 36 on the back nine of his second round.

Devon Lauer was second on the team through two rounds with a score of 155, shooting 79 in the first round and 76 in the second. He made just two birdies on the day, both on par 4s, but was generally consistent in keeping big numbers off his card.
Brady Houser was third on the team with a 161, carding an 81 in the opening round and an 80 in the second, and
Preston Stoner came in a stroke behind him with two rounds of 81.
