LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their volleyball weekly award winners on Monday. Clarion's Haley Fledderjohann earned PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for Sept. 29.
 
Fledderjohann was a defensive standout for the Golden Eagles last week as Clarion beat Slippery Rock and Shippensburg at home. The senior libero averaged 6.33 digs per set over the course of those two matches, racking up 31 digs against the Rock on Wednesday in five sets, and later 26 in four sets against Shippensburg.
 
Through 14 matches Fledderjohann is averaging a career-best 5.28 digs per set, and two weeks ago she surpassed the 1,000 dig mark in her career.
