Clarion at a Glance
Clarion (3-3 overall) has been on a roll as of late, starting with a come from behind win against Buffalo at home two weeks back (Jan. 16) followed by victories against Gardner-Webb and Campell at a tri-meet in North Carolin six days ago (Jan. 23). The Golden Eagles, 1-0 at home, will be looking to not only extend their winning streak, but also even their conference record (1-2 in the MAC)

Travis Clawson (125 pounds) is 5-1 in dual meet competition, winning his past four outings. He has an overall record of 15-5. Joey Fischer (133 pounds) is likewise 5-1 in duals and has a 13-7 mark overall. Alejandro Herrera-Rondon has a 3-2 match record and is 14-6 this season.

The MAC's January individual rankings have Clawson third at his weight, while Fisher and Herrera-Rondon are both fourth at theirs. Other potential Golden Eagle starters with winning records are 157-pounder Wesly Barnes (11-7), 174-pounder Gabe Lily (10-7), and 141-pounder Scott Johnson (8-6).

Bloomsburg at a Glance
Bloomsburg (9-13 overall) has yet to win a conference dual (0-3 in the MAC). The Huskies have a better road record (3-2) than at home, where they have not won a match (0-5). Losers of two straight, Bloomsburg's most recent setback was against Navy at home, a 31-10 defeat (Jan 23).

Bloomsburg's last win was a 30-17 victory over Campbell in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the NWCA/USMC Multi-Division National Duals (Jan. 10). It was the second time the Huskies beat the Camels this season, downing them 27-9 at the beginning of the campaign (Nov. 8).  Clarion beat Campbell its last time out (Jan. 23).

The Huskies have lost to Gardner-Webb (Nov. 2), 16-18, and Buffalo (Dec. 5), 21-14 – teams Clarion has beat in the past two weeks.

Potential Husky starters with overall winning records are 125-pounder Jace Schafer (12-4), 174-pounder Eric Alderfer (12-4), 197-pounder Wyatt Bush (5-4) 197-pounder Coy Raines (13-11), and 285-pounder Mason Robeck (14-5). Clarion vs. Bloomsburg
Clarion is 32-20-2 all-time against Bloomsburg since first meeting the Huskies in January 1968, a match the Golden Eagles lost, 30-10. The Golden Eagles have a 10-match winning streak against the Huskies, their most recent victory a 40-3 win at Bloomsburg during December 2024.
