Ashlee Albright and Coach Jay Kerle Golden Eagle Autumn Invitational Day 2

Women's Golf Takes Seventh at Michael Corbett Fall Classic

ERIE, Pa. --- With a trio of golfers climbing the leaderboard on the final day of the tournament, the Golden Eagle women's golf team improved by nine strokes to climb a spot on the leaderboard at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic, finishing seventh overall in their final action of the 2026 fall season.

Clarion shot a team score of 361, giving them a two-round score of 731 (370-361).

McKayla Kerle cut six strokes off her individual score from a day before, shooting an 81 to tie her for 19th overall in the field at 168 (87-81). The highlight of her day, and perhaps the season, came on the front nine when she recorded a rare double-eagle on the par five No. 3, holing out in two. She added two more birdies on the front nine to give herself a score of 37, en route to her 81.

Hannah Smith climbed one spot on the leaderboard to finish 22nd overall largely by staying static, shooting an 86 on Monday that was identical to her score from Sunday. Rylee Quaiser had one of the biggest leaps of the day for any Golden Eagle, cutting 10 strokes off her previous round to card a 93 on Monday that included a birdie on the par four No. 4 and a 39 on the front nine. That bumped Quaiser up nine spots on the leaderboard to tie her for 39th overall. Amber Roth finished one spot ahead of her on the overall leaderboard with a 101, filling out the scoring for Clarion, while Ashlee Albright shot a 102.
