Schering Breaks Pool Record at PA D-II Diving Invite

CLARION, Pa. --- Competing in Tippin Natatorium for one of the the final times in his career, Zach Schering broke one of his own pool records on Friday night, highlighting the Golden Eagles men's swimming & diving team's night at the PA D-II Diving Invite at home. 
 
Schering won the 3-meter dive six-dive list with a new pool record, posting a score of 364.55 to lead the field. He broke 60 points on five of his six dives, including a high of 69.00 points on a Reverse 2 ½ Somersault Pike. He wrapped things with a Forward 2 ½ Somersault 2 Twist Pike for 66.30 points.
 
Michael Flamm took second in the field with a mark of 343.35, including a high score of 68.60 on his final dive, a Forward 3 ½ Somersault Tuck. Zakary Kenney took third in that group with a score of 331.65.
 
Kennedy was the winner on the 1-meter board, pacing the field with a score of 303.70. His best score came on his fourth attempt, a Forward 2 ½ Somersault Pike. Flamm placed second with a 294.30, followed by Schering's score of 280.25.
