YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio ---
Abigail Butera hit a PSAC qualifying mark in the Mile run and cracked the top-four in program history in the event, highlighting the Golden Eagles track & field team's evening at the YSU Last Chance Invitational on Friday.

Making one last push toward earning a spot in another event at the upcoming PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, Butera did that and more in Youngstown. She took ninth in the field with a time of 5:11.41, which pushed her past Jennifer Boerner (5:13.4) and Lisa Nickel (5:11.5) for fourth on the program's all-time performance list. The time also ranks seventh in the PSAC to this point in the season.

Also competing in the mile was
Emmy Davis, who set a new PR with a time of 5:25.48.

Coming up close to a PR of her own was
Abby Stitzer, who took 11
th in the 800m with a time of 2:20.28. While Stitzer has run faster outdoor 800m times in her career, her time of 2:20.28 was just 0.21 behind her pace at last year's YSU Last Chance.

In the 3000m,
Raechel Braun hit a new PR in the 3000m, posting a time of 10:50.46.
