Women's Swimming & Diving Wraps Second Day at PSACs

YORK, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team hit the halfway point of the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships on Thursday, with three All-PSAC performances in the pool highlighting the second day of action.
 
Through Event 18, the Golden Eagles sit in third place with 497.5 points.
 
Elli Knausz earned All-PSAC status in the 400 IM, taking third overall in the field by edging out West Chester's Anna Evans in a tight race. Knausz took third place with a time of 4:30.53, less than a third of a second ahead of Evans' time of 4:30.80. Eva Molenaar won the C final of the event with a time of 4:41.22, giving her 17th overall.
 
The 200 Free Relay team of Erika Zimmerman, Raely Fajohn, Amanda Fetsko and Madelynn McTeer kicked off the Thursday finals with a third place finish in the 200 Free Relay. The quartet finished in a time of 1:35.40, putting them less than a second behind Bloomsburg's second-place group at 1:34.65.
 
Rounding out the all-conference performers on Thursday was Joslyn Jurski, who shaved near half a second off her morning prelim time to take third in the 200 Free. Jurski touched the wall in a time of 1:52.03 to take third overall and earn All-PSAC accolades. Fetsko took fourth in the B final and 12th overall with a time of 1:55.88, while McTeer was just two spots behind her at 1:56.88. Zimmerman (19th – 1:57.28) and Fajohn (21st – 1:57.34) also scored in the event.
 
The first individual A final of the night featured sophomore Rachael Hess, who took fourth in the 100 Fly with a time of 56.79. She came in just .08 seconds shy of an all-conference performance, just behind IUP's Katie Crosscut's third place. Zoey Beck won the B final of the event with a time of 57.70, putting her in ninth overall, while Rachel Carapella (13th – 58.64), Gina DiNapoli (14th – 58.89) and Caitlyn Brennan (16th – 59.36) showcased the Golden Eagles' depth in the event. Reese Charney rounded out the scoring in the 100 Fly with a time of 58.59, putting her second in the C final and 18th overall.
 
Closing out the night for Clarion was the 400 Medley Relay team, which took fourth place. Beck, Knausz, Hess and Fetsko touched the wall in 3:53.80.
