YORK, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's swimming & diving team concluded the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships on Saturday evening, placing fourth in the conference. Clarion posted 425 team points.

Connor Hoy wrapped his first ever appearance at the PSAC Championships with a top-eight finish in the 1650 Free, completing the grueling mile-long swim in seventh place. Hoy touched the wall in a time of 16:14.82.
George Horey was second on the team and 11
th overall with a time of 16:38.40 to further contribute to the scoring.

Freshman
Jacob Rider also reached an A final on the final day of the meet, with Rider adding to his already impressive performance with a fifth place finish in the 200 Back. He touched the wall in a time of 1:50.17, just a third of a second behind West Chester's Bartek Brzozowski's third place finish.
Landon Seman scored in the B final of the event with a time of 1:56.99.

On the other end of the career spectrum, graduate student
Mason Irwin authored a top-eight finish in the final conference meet of his career, taking seventh in the 100 Free. Irwin touched the wall in a time of 46.54, just a half-second behind IUP's Stephen Goff. Another Mason – Peck, in this case – scored in the B final, taking 16
th overall with a time of 47.07.

Similarly,
Dominic Cortopassi wrapped his final conference championship appearance with another All-PSAC performance. He took third in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:02.43, making him one of two Golden Eagles to finish in the top eight.
Gavin Guckavan took fifth in the same event with a time of 2:02.88.
Rich Scholer also scored in the 200 Breast, taking 14
th overall with a time of 2:08.19.

The team wrapped their week in York in the 400 Free Relay. The quartet of
Dylan Chaky,
Ryan Ehlers,
RJ Schaffer and
Mason Irwin took seventh with a time of 3:08.33.
