Women's Swimming & Diving Takes Fourth at PSACs

YORK, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team wrapped up their final day of the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships on Saturday night, with Clarion placing fourth in the field with 983 team points.
 
Joslyn Jurski wrapped her final PSAC Championships appearance with an all-conference performance in the 1650 Free, taking second play with a time of 17:18.07. The senior held close with West Chester's Greta Saville for the vast majority of the grueling mile-long swim, coming up just behind her but hitting an NCAA B cut in the process.
 
In the same event Lillian Linscheid was the last Golden Eagle to score, taking 24th overall in the field with a time of 18:51.94.
 
The Golden Eagles had four scorers in the 100 Free, including three placers in the B final. Erika Zimmerman led the way for Clarion by winning the B final, taking ninth overall with a time of 52.39. Madelynn McTeer was just one spot and 0.13 seconds behind her, taking 10th overall with a time of 52.52. Amanda Fetsko rounded out the trio in the B final, taking 13th overall with a time of 52.97.
 
Raely Fajohn contributed to the scoring in the 100 Free with a 23rd place finish, touching the wall in 55.06.
 
Another senior that showed well in her PSAC Championship race was Sydney Updegrave, reaching the A final in the 200 Back. Updegrave put up an eighth place finish in the event with a time of 2:09.95. Caitlyn Brennan (14th – 2:08.98) and Zoey Beck (15th – 2:09.03) came in back to back in the B final, while Reese Charney (20th – 2:12.96) and Rachel Carapella (20th – 2:13.25) did so in the C final.
 
In the 200 Breast, Eva Molenaar and Elli Knausz showed off the depth of the Golden Eagles' roster, with both making the A final of the event. Molenaar came up just one spot shy of an all-conference performance, taking fourth overall with a time of 2:21.74, while Knausz was sixth in 2:22.91.
 
Clarion wrapped up the night in the 400 Free Relay. McTeer, Fetsko, Zimmerman and Jurski combined for a time of 3:31.67.
