MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. --- The Golden Eagles track & field team kicked off their first outdoor meet of the 2026 season on Saturday, competing at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.

The top individual finisher for the Golden Eagles on Friday was
Raechel Braun, who took sixth place in the 10,000m. The freshman completed the grueling circuit in a time of 40:16.09.

The rest of Friday's competitors came in the field events, led by senior
Madison Foringer in the Hammer Throw. She took 10
th in the field with a mark of 40.74m in her first event of the season. Teammate
Zoey Grunthaner took 16
th in the Javelin with a mark of 29.62m and also competed in the Hammer.

Rounding out the field events for Clarion were
Delaney Yost and
Autumn Stoken in the Long Jump. Yost posted a mark of 4.61m while Stoken cleared a distance of 4.16m.
