MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. --- The Golden Eagles track & field team wrapped their weekend in the Palmetto State with a standout performance, competing in and completing the second day of the Myrtle Beach College Challenge on Saturday.

The highlight of the day came from
Abigail Butera, who won the 1500m with a PR and PSAC-qualifying time. The sophomore distance runner broke the tape in the mid-distance race, crossing the line in a time of 4:48.38. That is well beyond the conference qualifying standard of 4:52.00 and also represented a new PR.

The highest finisher in the field was
Delaney Yost, who took eighth in the Triple Jump. The sophomore cleared a mark of 9.68m, putting her among the best in the event on Saturday.
Chloe Statler also competed, hitting a mark of 7.82m.

Madison Foringer and
Zoey Grunthaner both competed in the Discus on Saturday, with Foringer finishing higher with a mark of 27.95m.
