WASHINGTON, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's golf team finished their first day at the Vulcan Fire Classic on Monday, with Clarion placing 11
th in the field with a score of 337. Action will resume tomorrow at Lone Pine Country Club.

Brady Houser was the top player on the leaderboard for the Golden Eagles on Monday, shooting an 81. His back nine saw him make even par on seven of the nine holes, giving him a score of 38 on that stretch.
Devon Lauer and
Kameron Kerle tied on the leaderboard with scores of 85, with Kerle logging a birdie on the par-five No. 13 hole.

Rounding out the team scoring was
Preston Stoner, who was one stroke behind with a score of 86. Stoner recorded two birdies, making one on the par four No. 3 holes and another on the par-3 No. 12 hole.
Jacob Danka rounded out the team entry with a score of 91, while
Keith Hamilton competed individually and shot an 89.
