WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. --- The Golden Eagles track & field team wrapped up the second day of the Tim Weaver Invitational hosted by West Liberty on Saturday.

Hannah Redwood had a pair of top-10 finishes in the short sprints on Saturday, taking fourth in the 200m and ninth in the 100m. She crossed the line in the former with a time of 27.95, just 0.18 seconds off the fastest time in the event for any Golden Eagle this season. In the 100m Redwood posted a time of 13.47.

Autumn Stoken and
Brooke Sciullo contributed a pair of top 10 finishes in the 400m to round out the strong day for the sprinters. Stoken crossed the line in a time of 1:05.58, putting her in sixth place, while Sciullo finished in 1:10.34 and eighth place.

In the distance events,
Chesnee Williams enjoyed one of the highlights of the day by recording a new PR in the 5000m. Williams cut 46 seconds off her previous best in the event, crossing the finish line in a time of 20:32.34 to place fourth.
Paige Brewer also added a top-five finish in the longer distance events, doing so in the grueling 3000m Steeplechase. Brewer took fifth place with a time of 13:13.50. In mid-distance,
Cheyenne Zeedyk took 11
th in the 800m with a time of 2:31.32. That represented a new season-best for the freshman.

Delaney Yost had the top finish in the field events, taking fourth place in the Long Jump and seventh in the Triple Jump. In the former, Yost hit a mark of 4.97m while in the latter she achieved a distance of 10.15m. Neva'eh Wright-Wicks also had a top-ten finish in the Long Jump, hitting a mark of 4.66m, while Sciullo cleared 10.07m in the Triple Jump. In the throws,
Madison Foringer took 16
th in the Discus with a mark of 27.86m.
