Women's Golf Finishes Second Day at PSAC Championship

KUTZTOWN, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's golf team finished the second round of the 2026 PSAC Championship on Thursday, with Clarion sitting in seventh place in the field after 36 holes at Berkleigh Golf Club. Clarion shot a 362 in the second round, dropping them three spots on the team leaderboard.

Despite the team score setback, one Golden Eagle climbed the individual leaderboard with a strong performance on Thursday. McKayla Kerle put up a team-best score of 86 in the second round, including a 41 on the front nine. That bumped her up one spot on the individual board to 19th overall, putting her as the sole Golden Eagle inside the top 20.

Just behind her in the second round was Hannah Smith, who put together a solid second round and stayed exactly even on the leaderboard at 32nd. Smith's score of 88 included a birdie on the par four No. 8 hole, which helped her to a team-best 38 on the front nine.

Amber Roth was third on the team with a score of 93 on Thursday, followed by a 95 from Kennady Norton. Rylee Thompson completed the team entry with a 96.

Clarion has combined for a team score of 7-1 (339-362) through two rounds.
