Action starts on Thursday with the Women's Hammer Throw and the 10,000m, with the Golden Eagles represented in both events.
Madison Foringer will look to put a cap on her collegiate career with a strong performance in the Hammer; the senior just narrowly missed the podium at last year's championship in Slippery Rock with a ninth place finish, but took sixth this year in the Weight Throw at the indoor championships.
Â
Also set to compete on Thursday is freshman
Raechel Braun, who will participate in the grueling 10,000m run. Braun will make her first career appearance at the PSAC Championships in its longest event, a 25-lap circuit around the track.
Â
The first Golden Eagles to take the track on Friday will be the 4x100 Relay team, with the quintet of
Delaney Yost,
Raegan Stader,
Hannah Redwood, Neva'eh Wright-Wicks and
Emily Foster appearing on the heat sheet. The first four names on that list produced the Golden Eagles' best time of the season, a 50.94 at the Westminster Invitational on April 11.
Â
Foster is also set to compete on Saturday, with an appearance in the Women's High Jump at 1 p.m. She hit her qualifying mark two weeks ago at the John Papa Invitational at Slippery Rock, clearing the bar at a height of 1.60m.
Â
Abby Stitzer will take the track on Friday in the 800m, with the reigning runner-up in the outdoor event looking to make noise again in 2026. Last year she hit a blazing PR in the event, cutting more than two seconds off her previous best to hit a time of 2:15.51. She's gotten progressively stronger as the outdoor season has gone on this year, with her most recent time – a 2:18.30 at the Westminster Invitational – her best of the season.
Â
Also representing the distance squad this weekend is
Abigail Butera, who will do double-duty on Saturday by competing in both the 1500m and the 5000m. The sophomore cracked the all-time performance lists in both events this past season, with her season-best time in the 5000m (17:25.22) behind just Clarion Sports Hall of Famer Erin Richard.
