WEST CHESTER, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's golf team concluded the first round of the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational on Monday, with Clarion sitting in 13
th place in the field after 18 holes of action. The team posted a combined score of 332 in the opening round at Penn Oaks Golf Club.

The second round of the tournament will tee off at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Devon Lauer and
Preston Stoner tied for the best finish of the day for the Golden Eagles, with each carding a round 82. Lauer made birdie on the par four No. 10 hole to highlight his day, while Stoner came in under par on the par five No. 12 hole.

Ranked third on the team and just one stroke behind Lauer and Stoner was
Brady Houser, who posted a score of 83.
Kameron Kerle rounded out Clarion's scoring with an 85, while
Tanner Miller filled out the team entry with a score of 87.
