GREENSBURG, Pa. — Clarion fell to 10th-ranked Seton Hill in both games of a doubleheader on Saturday at the SHU Baseball Complex, losing the first game 21–4 and the second game 25–5. In total, the Golden Eagles managed 11 runs on 12 hits over the two games.
Game 1: #10 Seton Hill 21, Clarion 4
Clarion's efforts were highlighted by
Ethan McNally's solo home run in the fifth inning, providing a brief spark. In the sixth,
Robert McCullough and Zach Colangelo contributed back-to-back singles, setting the stage for a three-run rally.
Jacob Patterson's double plated two, followed by
Derek Smail's sacrifice fly, which added another run. Despite these efforts, the Golden Eagles could not overcome the deficit, leaving two men on base in the seventh inning during a final push that fell short.
Ethan McNally led the Golden Eagles with a home run, contributing one run and one RBI. Zach Colangelo added two hits and scored a run, while

Clarion's early momentum in the second game came in the second inning when
Elvin Robles delivered a two-RBI single, capitalizing on a wild pitch to move runners into scoring position. Later in the sixth, the Golden Eagles mounted a response with a three-run effort.

Wyatt Fether reached base consecutively, setting up
Robert McCullough's RBI single, which was part of a sequence that narrowed the gap momentarily.
Despite these efforts, the Golden Eagles' opportunities slipped away in the fourth inning when they loaded the bases with one out but failed to score. Defensive struggles and missed chances prevented further rallies against Seton Hill's relentless scoring.
