CLARION, Pa. --- The College Sports Communicators announced their 2026 Academic All-District honorees for baseball on Tuesday. Two members of the Golden Eagles program –
Ethan Giangiulio and
Colin Miller – earned recognition for their work in the classroom and on the diamond.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or older academically and in terms of their eligibility and must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better. In the sport of baseball, position players have competed in at least 90 percent of team games played OR have started at least 66 percent of the total number of team games played. For pitchers, players must pitch 35-plus innings or appear in 17 games as a pitcher.
Giangiulio (3.91 – Management) started 41 games for the Golden Eagles between first base and designated hitter, posting a second straight strong season in the Blue & Gold. He slashed a line of .311/.384/.481 for an .865 OPS, with a career-high five home runs.
Miller (3.58 – Management) made 17 total appearances on the pitching mound for the Golden Eagles, the most on the team. He threw 39.0 innings, primarily in relief, and amassed a 6-3 record with one save.
