CLARION, Pa. --- The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced their 2026 Team Academic Award winners on Thursday. The Golden Eagles were among those programs recognized for their academic accomplishments during the 2025-26 school year.
 
To earn AVCA Team Academic honors, a program must maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. The Golden Eagles boasted a cumulative 3.61 GPA this year.
 
"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."
 
This is the eighth straight year that the Golden Eagles have earned AVCA Team Academic honors, with their streak dating back to the 2018-19 season. Since the award's inception Clarion has earned 17 AVCA Team Academic honors.
