LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their weekly volleyball award winners on Monday, and for the second time in three weeks Clarion's Cara Vandeborne earned PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week honors. Vandeborne was dominant at the net in four matches at the Atlantic Region Crossover hosted by West Liberty and Wheeling.
 
Statistically the PSAC's top blocker so far this season, Vandeborne averaged 1.35 blocks per set over the course of four matches, totaling 23 blocks in contests against Fairmont State, West Liberty, West Virginia State and Wheeling. She had three solo blocks apiece against Fairmont State and West Liberty. She added five blocks apiece in the two matches on Saturday.
 
Clarion will kick off PSAC play this Wednesday when they head on the road to face Slippery Rock.
