1952: A PERFECT SEASON

Clarion goes 9-0; wins Lions Bowl Title


The 1952 football season marked the first time in school history that Clarion finished a season unbeaten. The Golden Eagles went 9-0 under head coach Waldo S. Tippin capping the perfect campaign with a 13-6 win over East Carolina in the Lions Bowl. What follows is a brief game-by-game review of the perfect year.
