2022: Set career-highs with 43 games played, including 41 starts... batted .252 with five doubles, one home run and 17 RBIs... scored nine runs on the year... tied the program record with four sacrifice flies... went 2-for-4 with an RBI against Anderson (2/19)... batted 2-for-4 with three RBIs in a win over nationally-ranked Millersville (3/8)... went 2-for-5 against Penn State - Greater Allegheny (3/19)... drove in a pair of runs against Fairmont State (3/22)... knocked a home run in a win over Gannon (4/16). 

2021: Played in 33 games and made 30 starts, primarily in the outfield... batted .273 with four doubles and 12 RBIs... made his collegiate debut against Millersville (3/6)... recorded his first career hit and multi-hit game against Slippery Rock (3/19)... went 2-for-3 with two RBIs against Pitt-Johnstown (3/26)... drove in three runs against the Mountain Cats (3/27).

High School: Two-sport athlete that earned four letters in baseball and three in basketball... two-time All-District selection (2018-19)... helped team to a 2019 District 9 championship... set the team's freshman hit record.

Personal: Full name is Daren Richard Byers... intends to major in Criminal Justice... son of Rhianon and Douglas Byers... has a brother Dakotah.
