2023: 
  • Started 11 games on the bump, and made 12 appearences total 
  • 55 innings pitched on the year finishing with a 1-4 record and 5.56 ERA
  • 49 total strikeouts on the year 
  • Pitched a season-high eight innings in a victory with seven strikeouts in a victory over Chestnut Hill (3/11) 
  • Season-high nine strikeouts in only five innings against Mercyhurst (4/3)
  • Threw 6.2 innings with with five strikeouts only allowing two runs in his final outing of the year against California (5/6) 
2022: Made 13 total pitching appearances, including three starts... finished with a 2-3 record as wel las one save... threw 31.0 innings on the year, striking out 31... made his collegiate debut against East Stroudsburg (2/23)... got his first career win against Penn State - Greater Allegheny, throwing five innings and allowing three runs (3/19)... got a win in relief over Wheeling, throwing 2.2 shutout innings (4/13)... got the save against Gannon, retiring two batters in relief with the game on the line (4/16).

High School: Played shortstop second base, right field and pitched for Central Dauphin... two-time Mid-Penn Second Team selection.

Personal: Sport Management major... son of Pamela and Brian Shafer... has a brother, Collin... father Brian was an athlete at Virginia.
