High School: Two-sport athlete that earned three letters in football and four in track & field... part of track & field team's CVC Championship, winning the 300m Hurdles and the 4x400m Relay... first team all-conference and honorable mention all-district in football... in track & field was a two-time all-conference selection in the 300H, a second-team all-conference selection in the 110H, and a first team all-conference selection with the 4x400m Relay team... member of the Academic Honor Roll.

Personal: Intends to major in Sport Management... son of Andrew and Chelsea Pernell... has two brothers, Chris Wilson and Brian Andre Pernell... father Andrew played football at Alabama.
