High School: Three-sport athlete that lettered in football and baseball, and also competed in basketball... two-time all-conference selection, as a junior and senior... threw for more than 3,000 passing yards and 31 touchdowns as a senior... also went off for 450 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns as a senior... finished his career with more than 7,000 passing yards, 73 passing touchdowns, 700 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns... tied a single-game passing record with seven passing touchdowns in a game, and entered the top-three in single-game passing yards with 521... had another game where he threw six touchdown passes... two-time member of the Dean's List... voted Offensive MVP as a senior, as well as Most Valuable Titan Male Athlete of the Year... helped baseball team to back-to-back state championships.
