Daron Fleming enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Golden Eagle women's basketball team. The husband of head coach Danielle Fleming, he previously worked on the staffs at Columbia International (2020-23) and Southern Arkansas (2018-20). In his collegiate coaching career, Fleming has helped develop more than 20 all-conference selections and 21 scholar-athlete honorees.
Fleming served as the Associate Head Coach at Columbia International for three seasons, helping them to three consecutive National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region championships as well as three straight NCCAA national tournament appearances. There, Fleming served as the program's recruiting coordinator, director of player development and camp coordinator, while also handling team travel and practice planning.
Prior to his time at Columbia International, Fleming spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Southern Arkansas. He was part of the team making a 14-win improvement from the first year to the second, marking the biggest turnaround in the country that year.
Fleming's resume also includes stints at the prep level, working as assistant head coach at both The Wellington School (2017-18) and Licking Heights high school (2015-17).
Fleming earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Ohio Christian.
