A four-year starter for the Gannon women's soccer team, Katie Urban begins her first year as a volunteer assistant coach with the Golden Eagles in 2019.

Urban served as an assistant coach at Villa Maria Academy in Erie from 2014-15 after a stellar four-year career with the Golden Knights.  With 73 starts made from 2008-11, she ranks sixth on the all-time list at Gannon in starts made, and her 73 games played ranks 12th for a career.  A midfield by trade, Urban finished her career with four goals and seven assists, including four helpers in her senior season.  She was awarded the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (NACDA) Academid Achievement Award multiple times in her career and was also a multiple-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete honoree.
