Biography
2024-25
- Competed at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships (3/11) in the 200 Free, 500 Free and 1000 Free, finishing in 28th in the 1000 Free
- Took home two individual wins at the PSAC Championships in the 1000 Free setting a personal best time of 10:11.90, and a personal best in the 1650 Free touching the wall in 17:12.32
- At the PSAC Championships (2/17) placed 4th in the 200 Free with a time of 1:52.89 and placed 3rd in the 500 Free with a time of 5:00.85
- Recorded a personal best in the 100 Back as the leadoff for the 400 MR touching the wall in a time of 58.79 at the Zippy Invitational
- Placed 32nd in the 100 Free setting a personal best in prelims with a time of 52.97, 11th in the 200 Free, 13th in the 500 Free, and 4th in the 1650 Free at the Zippy Invitational
- As a part of the 200 FR set a personal best time in the 50 Free with a time of 24.37 while placing 16th
2023-24
- At PSAC Championships (2/17) broke a 31-year school record in the 1000 Free touching the wall in 10:16.91, just 0.15 seconds faster than the previous record to finish fourth place in the heat.Â
- Added a couple third place finishes in the 200 Free and the 500 Free at the PSAC Championships
- Finished fourth at the 1650 Free at the Zippy Invitational (12/3) touching the wall in 17:16.39
- Earned PSAC Women's Swimmer of the Week (12/12) after helping the Golden Eagles sweep their tri-meet of IUP and Frostburg State.Â
- Won the 500 Free and 1000 Free at the PennWest Duals (1/20)
2022-23
- Team's leading scorer at the PSAC Championships, accounting for 105 team points over the course of four days (2/15)
- Made her collegiate debut at the Clarion Fall Classic with a slew of victories, including first place finishes in the 200 IM (2:20.91), 1650 Free (18:31.27), 500 Free (5:28.11), 200 Free (2:00.96) and 100 Free (56.21) (10/15)
- Won the 200 Free and the 500 Free in a dual meet win over Allegheny (10/29)
- Took ninth in the field in the 1650 Free at the prestigious Zippy Invite, finishing in a time of 17:26.49 (12/1)
- Pulled off three top-five finishes at the PSAC Championships, including a pair of NCAA B Cuts (2/15)
- Finished third in the PSAC in the 1000 Free with a B Cut of 10:21.98 (2/15)
- Took fourth at the PSAC Championships in the 500 Free with a B cut of 5:04.39 (2/15)
- Finished fifth in the 200 Free at the PSAC Championships with a time of 1:54.67 (2/15)
High School: Three-time state qualifier... voted team's most valuable player all four years of high school... won the district championship in the 200 Free... also placed second in the 200 Free and the 500 Free in her junior and senior years... sectional champion in both the 200 Free and 500 Free... seven-time First Team All-League... one-time Second Team All-League...recipient of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Archie Griffin Award... received her high school's Leta Westcott Award, given to the best senior female student-athlete based on leadership, dedication to sport, sportsmanship and academic performance... graduated with five school records (100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Medley Relay)... finished third in her class with a 4.28 GPA... three-time academic all-league selection... summa cum laude all four years... honor roll all four years.
Personal: Business management major... daughter of Jim and Heidi Jurski... has a brother, Trevor... Trevor is a member of the baseball team at Notre Dame (Ohio).
