- Has three siblings: brothers Damir and AJ, and a sister Kamila
- Parents were both collegiate athletes, with mom a gymnast and dad a wrestler at Utah State; their athletic trainer was Jim "Thunder" Thornton, formerly head athletic trainer at Clarion
- Brother AJ plays football at Chapman University
- Was adopted from Kazakhstan, along with her other siblings
