- Accomplished diver and gymnast in high school
- Section 1A Individual Diving Champion
- Three-time state qualifier in diving with a fifth place finish as a senior, sixth place as a junior and 12th as a sophomore
- Two-time KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week
- One-time KAAL Athlete of the Week
- Three-time Big 9 all-conference honors, and also a Big 9 all-conference honorable mention
- Four-time Spotlight on Scholarship Award recipient
- All-America qualifying score as a junior
- NISCA State Top 16 award in three different years
- Bud Higgins Outstanding Senior Athlete Award winner
- Team Captain
- As a gymnast, won six varsity letters, was a multiple-time state qualifier, and earned numerous all-section and all-state honors in Beam and Floor, Bars and All Around
- 2-year National Honor Society member
