Clarion Athletics

2020-21: Transferred to Clarion and immediately earned a starting spot at 165 pounds... went 11-6 on the season, including a 5-3 mark in duals and a 5-2 record in the MAC... placed sixth at the conference championship at 165 pounds, with one win in the championship bracket and two in the consolation side... made his Clarion debut against Navy, including a win over Henry Hague (1/9)... helped the Golden Eagles to dual wins over SIU-Edwardsville and Kent State by beating Chase Diehl and Mason Karpinski, respectively (1/23).

2019-20 (George Mason):  Starter at 157 pounds for the second straight season... Recorded a 23-win season (23-14), including 12-5 in dual action... Finished 2-2 at the Southeast Open (Nov. 3)... 2-1 at the Journeymen Classic (Nov. 10)... Had a 4-2 record at the Navy Classic (Nov. 23)... At the Southern Scuffle won the first two matches before dropping two straight.

2018-19 (George Mason):  Starter at 157 pounds…Named Mason Wrestling’s Freshman of the Year at the end of season annual banquet…Finished the season with a 22-11 record, including a 10-4 dual mark during his rookie campaign…Went 4-1 in Eastern Wrestling League duals, earning bonus points in three of the matches against conference opponents with major decisions…Registered bonus points in 12 of his 22 victories with three falls, four technical falls, five major decisions and 10 decisions…Placed second at both the Hokie Open (Nov. 4) and Patriot Open (Dec. 9), while also competing in the Navy Classic (Nov. 17) and Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1-2) during the season…Won his first NCAA match with a 27-10 (6:07) technical fall over Jerrod Hunziker (at VMI) on Nov. 2…Placed second at the Hokie Open in Roanoke, Va. on Nov. 4 after winning three matches, with a 20-8 major decision over Oszkar Kasch (Campbell), a 10-8 decision against Ryan Resnick (Chattanooga) and an 18-3 (3:53) technical fall over Kyle Daley (Limestone)…Won two bouts at the Navy Classic on Nov. 17, earning a 16-6 major decision against Tim Suter (Edinboro) and a fall over Daniel Colon (Delaware Valley)…Claimed his first EWL dual with a 14-5 major decision against Nate Newberry (at Bloomsburg) on Nov. 29…Won by 11-3 major decision over Alex Klucker (at Lock Haven) on Nov. 30…Placed second in his weight class at the Patriot Open on Dec. 9 after winning three straight matches, with a 21-6 technical fall (6:42) over Kack Bokina (Brown), a fall at 2:54 of the first period over Riley Barth (Pittsburgh) and an 8-6 decision against Hunter Jones (West Virginia)…Won by 20-5 technical fall (5:59) over Chase McKinney (at Gardner-Webb) on Dec. 20…Picked up a 5-2 decision against Tony Palumbo (at Davidson) on Dec. 20…Won a pair of matches at the Southern Scuffle on Jan. 1-2, with a 10-5 decision over William Formato (Appalachian State) and a 6-5 decision against Quentin Hovis (Navy)…Won a 7-5 decision against Nico Odor (Cleveland State) on Jan. 10…Stormed to a 12-4 major decision over Tim Suter (Edinboro) on Jan. 27…Posted a pin (6:31) against Patrick Quinlan (at Franklin & Marshall) on Feb. 9…Earned a 6-3 decision against Ryan Diehl (Maryland) on Feb. 17…Notched an 8-2 decision over Ryan Burkert (at Hofstra) on Feb. 22…Placed second at the 2019 EWL Championships, recording an 8-5 decision over Tim Suter (Edinboro) in the quarterfinals and a 3-2 decision against Nico O’Dor (Cleveland State) in the semifinals before falling to Alex Klucker (Lock Haven) by a 3-2 decision in the first-place bout.
