2020-21 (Northern Illinois): Finished the season with a 5-2 record at 197 pounds... won three matches by fall... got his first win of the season with a pin over Ohio's Jake Walker in a dual (1/23)... pinned Clarion's Brett Wittmann in a quad meet held at SIU-Edwardsville (1/30)... also defeated the Cougars' Sergio Villalobos by decision that same day (1/30)... closed season with an 11-4 decision over Kent State's Ryan Boyle (2/12).
2019-20 (Northern Illinois): Finished the season with a 1-2 record competing at 184. Won his first bout of the year with an 8-3 decision over Oklahoma’s Jake Boyd at the Michigan State Open (Nov. 2)…Suffered a season-ending injury in his third match of the season at the MSU Open.
2018-19 (Northern Illinois): Finished season with a 12-8 overall record,8-6 record accredited to duals…Recorded major decision wins against three opponents; Jalen Laughlin (Pennsylvania), 14-6, Sergio Villalobos (SIUE), 16-7, and Logan Rill (Buffalo), 13-2…Gained four wins by fall… Career record improved to 21-11.
2017-18: Amassed a record of 9-3 wrestling unattached … Competed in three open tournaments … Earned two pin falls and a tech. fall victory en route to a first-place finish at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open (Nov. 4) …. Wrestled to a second-place finish at the Jim Koch Open (Dec. 2) … Placed third at the Pat ‘Flash’ Flanagan Open (Jan. 6) … Finished with three pins, two tech falls, and two major decision victories.
High School: Awarded captain and MVP junior year… At 171 pounds, recorded a 42-5 record placing second in conference, first in sectionals, and fourth in the state meet… As a sophomore, conference champion with a record of 35-5… As junior placed first in MUSAW Chelsea Folkstyle, Chelsea Greco, and Chelsea Freestyle… At 189 pounds, took first place at the Jim Dewland Chaos Classic... also lettered in football.
