Clarion Athletics

Nick Deloia is entering his eighth season as a volunteer assistant with the Golden Eagle wrestling program in 2024-25. A product of nearby Brookville, Pennsylvania, Deloia has been a critical part of the staff for his ability to evaluate opponents as well as potential recruits to the program.

With Deloia’s help, the Golden Eagles have improved their finish in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in each of their first four seasons in the conference, culminating in 2022-23 with a third-place finish in the league. Clarion sent three or more NCAA qualifiers to the Division I championships in two of those four seasons,  and the Golden Eagles have been a difficult opponent in dual matches, going 58-48 over the course of his tenure in Clarion.
