(Edinboro, Pa.): Clarion's Morgan Oberlander (So. York/Dallastown), Kaitlyn Johnson (Sr. Uniontown) and Kayla Shull (So. Franklin/Rocky Grove) and Gina Mattucci (Sr. Jeannette) were multiple winners in individual events leading the Golden Eagle Women's Swimming team to a 157-104 win over Edinboro and a 180-81 win over Gannon on Saturday at McComb Fieldhouse.

 

            Oberlander was a three-time winner taking the 100 breaststroke (2:09.91) and the 500 freestyle (5:18.92) and the 400 I.M. (4:42.16). Johnson took the 200 free (1:54.75) and the 100 fly (58.14), Shull was first in the 100 (59.44) and 200 backstroke (2:10.86) and Mattucci the 50 (24.69) and the 100 freestyle (55.02).

 

            The Golden Eagles also won both relay events including the 200 medley and the free. Shull, Kelly Connolly, Johnson and Mattucci swam a 1:48.53 in the medley, while Johnson, Mattucci, Connolly and Shull won the free with a time of 1:38.90.

 

            The win raises Clarion's dual meet record to 6-0 on the year. The Golden Eagles, under 11^th year head coach Mark Van Dyke, host Duquesne on Saturday at 1pm.
