Box Score SLIPPERY ROCK – Lauren Saussol made five saves in net for the Clarion women's soccer team, but a pair of goals less than five minutes apart early in the game was too much for Clarion to overcome in a 3-0 loss at Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon.
 
The Rock scored goals in the 13^th and 17^th minute (Lucy Hannon and Kara Mullins) and then added an insurance marker in the 54^th minute (Erin Storck).
 
Clarion was outshot in the contest 22-4 including 12-1 in the first half. Three of the Golden Eagles shots were on goal with Alyssa Liebdzinski, Casey Harsch and Bethany Naugle recording them.
 
With the loss, Clarion falls to 3-8-2 overall and 1-7-2 in the PSAC. The Golden Eagles return to action at 5 p.m. Tuesday when they host Shippensburg.
