Box Score CLARION – Rebecca Webb and Hannah Heeter each record 10 kills to lead Clarion to a 3-1 win over American International in the nightcap of action Friday at the Tony Banner Memorial Invitational at Clarion's Tippin Gym.

Clarion fell 25-23 in the first set before taking the next three by scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-19.

Webb added five blocks and three digs, while Heeter had 10 kills, six blocks and four digs for the Golden Eagles (4-2). Laura Subject set up the offense with 32 set assists while adding eight digs. Rebecca Ferragonio added 13 digs. Mogan Seybold chipped in six kills and nine digs with Jocelyn Uchic adding five kills and nine digs.

Clarion returns to action with a pair of matches Saturday at Tippin. The Golden Eagles host Roberts Wesleyan at 1 p.m. and Fairmont State at 7:30 p.m. Action starts at 9 a.m. with Slippery Rock facing Fairmont State.
