CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion University women's volleyball program is holding its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend Friday and Saturday Oct. 3-4 at Tippin Gym.
The event, which will take place when the Golden Eagles host Gannon at 7 p.m. Friday and Mercyhurst at 1 p.m. Saturday, will feature various activities to raise funds for The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital.
The team will be selling t-shirts ($12 a shirt) and 50-50 raffle tickets (all proceeds from the raffle go to The Cancer Center and everyone who buys a 50-50 ticket will be eligible to win a door prize), there will be a bake sale and donations will be collected.

NOTES – Last year, the Clarion University athletics department donated nearly $4,500 to The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital, and Golden Eagle athletics has donated over $15,000 to the center in the past four years alone.
