CLARION FALLS TO SRU 4-0
(Slippery Rock, PA) – The Clarion Golden Eagles soccer club fell to Slippery Rock University on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 4-0. Clarion's sophomore forward
Aaliyah Odom tallied four shots in the loss.
The Golden Eagles' record now slips to (3-10-1) on the season, while Slippery Rock moves to (8-4-1).
Slippery Rock got things started early in the first half as Skye Kramer struck first in the 19
th minute with an unassisted goal. The Rock extended its lead in the 26
th minute when Allison Harbart scored via Tess Keeley's pass to push the lead to 2-0.
In the second half Slippery Rock continued pushing things on offense as Caitlin Binder found the back of the net in the 83
rd minute to make it a 3-0 lead. In the 87
th minute, SRU capped things off as Brooke Testa took a Haley Burkholder pass and extended the lead to 4-0.

Aaliyah Odom led the Golden eagles in shots with fours, including one on goal. Clarion's
Stephanie Sikora, Mckenzie Sheesly,
Anna Chamberlin, and Stephnie Lias all contributed on shot each for the Golden Eagles.

Krista Mosi finished the evening with ten saves, as she faced a total of twenty four shots.
The Golden Eagles return to action at 1 pm. Sunday afternoon where they will host Shippensburg.
