CLARION VB BLITZES THE ROCK 3-0 SATURDAY
 
                (Slippery rock, Pa.): Clarion's Morgan Seybold notched 16 digs and Kaley Pittsley had 44 assists to lead the Golden Eagle Women's volleyball team to a3-0 at Slippery rock on Saturday afternoon at Morrow Field House.
 
                Clarion raised its overall record to 9-8 and 5-1 in the PSAC-Western Division, while SR dropped to 8-11 overall and 1-5 in the West.
 
                Clarion swept The Rock in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-20.
 
                In the opening set with clarion leading 19-17, Gabrielle Olson notched two kills, the Marissa Robertson finished the set with two straight kills to give Clarion a 25-20 opening win.
 
                In set two Clarion jumped out to an 8-3 lead and never looked back winning 25-16. Robertson had 5 kills and Mackenzie Biggs 4 kills in the second set.
 
                The Eagles led the final set 17-11 with a balanced attack and won 25-20.
 
                Marissa Robertson's 11 kills and 6 digs, Taylor Braunagel's 11 kills and Mackenzie Biggs 10 kills and 5 digs helped lead the way, while Kaley Pittsley posted 44 assists and Morgan Seybold had 16 digs.
 
                Clarion plays at IUP on Tuesday with match time set for 7pm.
