Taylor Braunagel had 20 kills,
Leah Vensel had 28 set assists and 12 digs, and
Morgan Seybold had 32 digs, but it wasn't enough for the Golden Eagles as they lost a tough match Saturday afternoon to California (Pa.) at Tippin Gymnasium.
With the loss The Golden Eagles fall to 18-14 on the season and 14-6 in the PSAC West, and with the victory California (Pa.) was able to improve to 14-16 on the year and 12-8 in the PSAC West.
Clarion lost the first two sets of the match by scores of 25-22 and 25-16 respectively. The Golden Eagles were able to rally and win the third set by a score of 25-23. Clarion then went on to lose the final set of the match by a score of 25-22.
The Golden Eagles received contributions from
Mackenzie Biggs with 11 Kills and 4 blocks and
Gabrielle Olson with 9 kills and 4 blocks. Also for Clarion
Morgan Herold and
Catherine Ferragonio chipped in with 11 digs each.
The Golden Eagles return back to Tippin Gymnasium November 13
th to take on Gannon.
